Happy Turkey Week!

Did I ever tell you that (just like Daddy) one of my favorite animals is the panda?  Well, one day Daddy thought he would be so clever and turn my hard-boiled egg into a panda by adding my favorite food... olives.  What a great idea!  I loved eating it and wanted more.

Thanksgiving week was unbelievable!  It began when we traveled down to Southern California to see Bubbie and Grandpa.  When we got there on Friday night I looked all over the house for Grandpa, but Mommy told me he wouldn't be there until Tuesday.  On Monday I went with Mommy and Bubbie to go play with cousin Abby.  We played with all her toys and even rode on her choo-choo.  First she pushed me on it and then I pushed her.  We "choo-chooed" all through the house.

Besides seeing Grandpa on Tuesday, guess what else I got to do.  Mommy woke me up early in the morning by rubbing my back.  As, I slowly woke up she said, "Kaylie, it's time to go to Disneyland."  Although I was still half asleep, I immediately said, "Yep," and reached my hands up for her to take me out of bed.  I was definitely ready for my first trip to Disneyland!  The first rides I went on were Peter Pan and Pinocchio and they were a little too scary for me.  Next we went on the carousel and that was WAY too scary for me!  Afterwards we went on It's a Small World and Finding Nemo Submarines.  I loved them!  I then enjoyed watching and dancing along  with the birds in the Tiki Room.  After the Tiki Room I could barely control my excitement as we waited to meet the famous Minnie Mouse!  I also got to hang out with my friend Jacob.  He was very nice to me.  After my wonderful lunch of french fries and milk we went on a train ride to get over to the Haunted Mansion.  I was so excited to be on the train it's hard to believe that I fell asleep before we reached our destination.  Later that evening we went to a parade.  It was so exciting!  I couldn't stop singing, dancing, and clapping to the music.

The next day I finally got to play with Grandpa!  I sure missed him!  For dinner we all went to Mommy and Daddy's favorite restaurant... Cho Cho San.  I got my first teppan show.  I loved the flames as the chef cooked our dinner right at our table!

I love Thanksgiving!  What a great holiday!  I got to party on Thursday and Friday!  I loved being around so many friends and family.  I had fun playing with everyone!

Later in the week I got to meet and play with Sienna and her Grandma.  I got so excited when Bubbie told me they were coming to visit.  I kept saying "Sienna" until they finally arrived.

I learned some new things while at Bubbie and Grandpa's.  Mommy's favorite is how I say "Wow" to everything new that I see.  She also thinks it's funny how I now enjoy to hide and say "Boo" to scare people, however she didn't think it was very funny when I scared her because she didn't know I was hiding behind her bedroom door.

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was great!  I started the holiday at the beginning of October when I went to my first pumpkin patch.  It was so big, we didn't even see everything there was to see.  I went on a train ride, enjoyed a petting zoo, ate my first corn dog, and at the end I went on a hayride to pick out a pumpkin.  The pumpkins were huge!  Don't worry, Mommy and Daddy wouldn't let me take home my first pumpkin choice... I got one that was just the right size for me... look I could pick it up myself!

Look at the "Melmo" Halloween basket Mommy got for me.  This picture always makes me laugh!

During the week of Halloween I got to wear my costume to my music class.  I loved getting all dressed up!

I did so many fun things on Halloween!  It all began in the morning when we went to a street faire in Old Folsom.  I took part in my first costume contest.  Although, I didn't win I loved dancing in the street to the loud music.  I couldn't understand how no one else felt the need to dance!  In the evening I started my trick or treating experience by having a temper tantrum in the driveway.  Once I got over my little fit, it was all fun and games the rest of the night.  I got really good at trick or treating.  I knocked on the doors all by myself and said "thank you" after I got some candy.  It took me awhile to realize I should keep the candy in my basket rather than trying to carry it all in my hands.  After trick or treating in my neighborhood I went over and got to see Lily.  She was such an adorable little witch.  Mommy tried so hard to get a cute picture of the 2 of us together, but we would not sit still.

This is one of my new favorite toys.  Mommy calls it my "toilet paper choo choo."

Keeping Busy

Even though Mommy's back at school we have still been keeping very busy.  I went to the California State Fair where I saw huge goats and cows.  While there I got to go inside my first petting zoo.  There were so many animals everywhere I didn't know what to do!  I loved it!  I even got to pet a deer!

Guess what Mommy and Daddy made for me!  My very own playroom!!  I finally have room for all my toys and space to run around!

I went back to Lake Tahoe again.  While there I went on a hike to Eagle Rock.  Look at me at the top of the mountain!  I could see the entire Lake from the top.  I also got to go see salmon spawning... Grandpa would have been so jealous!  On our way to see the salmon we stopped to take a picture at Mommy's favorite childhood spot.  She would go to Tahoe Cedars Lodge every summer, but now it's up for sale... does anyone have 15 million dollars they can spare?

Look at the pretty bows Mommy bought me from her friend April.  I love asking to wear my new bows.  I am well prepared for long hair.
