Happy Happy Holidays!

So many holidays, so little time. My holidays kicked off with a trip to Southern California for Thanksgiving. I had so much fun with Bubbie and Grandpa! I love Abby and Molly so much that I still can't stop talking about them! I wish I could do everything with them!

I think this was my most exciting Hanukah yet! Each night, I said the prayer with Mommy and then was very good about only opening one present. I also did a good job of not blowing out the menorah filled with all those "birthday" candles!

Every year Mommy bakes cookies to give to all her friends for Christmas. This year I got to help her! I was a big help... and I hardly ate any chocolate chips!

Although, Christmas hasn't come yet I've been celebrating for awhile now. It started with a trip to pick out a Christmas tree.

Santa was everywhere this season! I first got to see Santa at Daddy's work. I couldn't wait to tell him I wanted a reindeer for Christmas!

Next, I got to see Santa at a brunch for Daddy's work. It was so much fun... they even had dancing there!

Finally, I got to see Santa at Folsom Zoo. Mommy, Daddy, and Gramma took me there to see the holiday lights decorations. We met Hailey, Rob and Erin there. Since, we went at night many of the animals were moving around.

I also got to build my first gingerbread house. Hailey came over and we each got to make our own. I was nearly successful at not eating any of the candy... the frosting is a different story.

Some of you may have heard the sad news of my favorite mall closing because of a man coming in and starting a huge fire. It closed the day after Gramma had taken me to go on the carousel ride. I had saved one token for the carousel to use on a different day and now the carousel was closed! I talked about going back on it everyday and Mommy told me I would go back on it once the fireman were done cleaning up the mess from the fire. Well, after nearly 2 months I got to go back to the mall and ride the carousel! Mommy even let me ride it twice! Gramma came with us and we met Miss Terri there. We ate lunch together, went shopping, and went on more rides! The trip was well worth the wait!

And for the big holiday news... meet my new baby brother or sister! Baby Gendron/Smith is due August 1st. I can't wait to meet my new friend! I told Mommy I hope it's a boy. I'm already being a great big sister by taking care of Mommy. She explained to me that she can't carry me anymore because it can hurt my baby so I'm happy with just holding her hand... "I don't want to hurt my baby."
