Finally Another Post!

Can you tell that Mommy went back to work? It has been forever since the last post so we are going to do this one on fast forward mode.

Before Mommy went back to work she took me out to a very special lunch with her favorite teacher of all time! It was Mrs. Sheehan, her 3rd grade teacher. It's quite unbelievable that she lives only 20 minutes away!

During Halloween time I got to pick out a pumpkin at the pumpkin patch. On Halloween night Kyler dressed up as an octopus (of course) and I was Strawberry Shortcake. I was a little sick, but managed to push through in order to load up on candy.

For Thanksgiving we went to Bubbie and Grandpa's where Kyler and I finally got to meet "Kyler's cousin" baby Max! I also got to play with my cousins whom I love so much! One day Bubbie and Grandpa took all their grandkids to Build-A-Bear where I made Jelly Bean Girl.

I'm turning into a great big sister! I love making Kyler laugh! I don't even need to look at him to make him smile... he loves me so much!

I got a lot of great presents for the holidays, but my favorite one was a visit from Uncle Josh, Auntie Michelle, and my new cousin Apple Joy! Kyler got a lot of gifts too, but he liked eating them more than playing with them.

This first picture is a picture of me when I was almost 6 months old. Guess who the second picture is? That's right! It's Kyler when he was almost 6 months old! Yes, Kyler's picture was posed, but it's still pretty impressive!

Busy Being a Big Sister

Life has been as busy as ever since Kyler has arrived and I'm loving it! Kyler finally got to meet Auntie Meagan! Soon after we got home from the hospital Uncle David came to visit and about 3 weeks later (a day before Kyler's due date) Grandpa got to meet his first grandson. He said the day Mommy was getting her ultrasound to find out the gender of her baby, he was thinking blue all day long. It worked, Grandpa!

While Bubbie and Grandpa were visiting we did a lot of fun things! We had ice cream at Leatherby's for lunch! Mommy actually let me eat ice cream for lunch! We went to the fish hatchery. Mommy made sure to wait for Grandpa for my first trip to the fish hatchery... he loves fish hatcheries! We went to the Folsom Zoo and the California State Faire. Bubbie and Grandpa loved the faire so much they want to come back and go to it again every year!

I got to go to the dentist for my first time. I wasn't scared at all! I loved it! I already loved brushing my teeth, but now I love it even more! Mommy was so impressed that the hygienist could get me to stop talking long enough to clean my teeth... she was amazing!

One day this summer Mommy and Daddy took Kyler and me to the Children's Music Festival at the Folsom Aquatic Center. I love music and dancing! I was having so much fun that Music Mike asked me to come on stage! I loved being on stage! It was just like American Idol.

Also, this summer Mommy, Daddy, and I took Kyler on his first trip to visit Bubbie and Grandpa. While there he got to meet Abby, Molly, Kathy, Auntie Avie, Uncle Arnie, Auntie Renie, Uncle Peter, and a whole bunch of family and friends. Kyler even got to meet Baby Owen who was supposed to have the same birthday as Kyler, but my brother just couldn't wait another 3 weeks! We had a big "Welcome Kyler" party. I insisted that an Octopus cake was the only appropriate cake for such an occassion.

What else did I do while visiting Bubbie and Grandpa? Well, we went to the park of course!

Do you want to hear another amazing thing we did while in Southern California?! I got my first haircut! I had been talking about it forever and it finally happened! Mommy took me to Cynthia who had been the same person who cut her hair when she was growing up. Cynthia was so excited to meet me! She even gave me a present! I got a Princess puzzle that is as big as I am. Cynthia made the special day even more special for Mommy and me!

When we got back from visiting Bubbie and Grandpa I went back to school, but the fun definitely did not stop. I love school!

Kyler and I recently got back from his first trip to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. I love "my park." We went there with Haley and her whole family. Uncle David and Cousin Josh even met us there! What a great day!

The day after Six Flags, Uncle David came over to stay with us for a night. You may notice that Kyler's Celtics onesie is the same one I wore as a baby when I saw Uncle David right after the Lakers lost in the finals to the Celtics. That was a day to celebrate! I love my Uncle David! He spoils me a lot, but I would love him anyways.

Hannah finally had another birthday party! I had been talking about her Princess party all year and couldn't wait to celebrate with Hannah again! This time I learned what is inside a pinata! I had no idea those things are filled with candy! Why didn't anyone ever tell me?! By the way... that bag I'm holding up is only one of my overflowing bags I filled up!

I'm having so much fun being a big sister! Kyler is starting to smile a lot now! I love it when he moves his head to the sound of my voice to try and find me. He is growing bigger very fast. I can't wait until he can play with me.
