My Fifth Month

Geez, am I turning into a big girl quickly or what?! I'm already holding my bottle all by myself and I started eating rice cereal. I didn't know what to think of the cereal at first, but now I think I like it. I also found this new noise I can make with my mouth and I love doing it all the time. When I say all the time I mean ALL THE TIME! I make the noise in my crib in the morning and I even make it while I'm eating... which makes quite a funny mess... check it out on my video.

Since I started eating I finally got my own eating chair. Check me out in my brand new high chair!

My Auntie Michelle gave me a very cute outfit and since I look so adorable wearing it in this picture, Mommy had to add it to the blog!

On Daddy's side of the family there are a ton of September birthdays so every year they have one big birthday party. Last year I was in Mommy's tummy for the excitement, but this year I got to be part of the bash. I even got to meet baby Gabby! Mommy went to Gabby's baby shower the day before I was due to be born.

One evening this month Mommy and I got to babysit little Hannah. She loved playing with me and watching me sleep on the monitor, but her favorite activity was racing Mommy down the stairs on her bottom.

Later this month I got to participate in Sunday Night Football. It was fun, but I have no idea who won because I had to go home to bed before the game ended.

Guess where else I got to go this month... Reno! They say it is really a place just for adults, but I don't think so! Daddy won me a bunch of toys at Circus Circus and there were so many bright, beautiful lights... it was perfect for a baby! I even had a blast in the hotel room! Grandma was such a bad influence... she taught me how much fun it is to jump on the bed. Daddy showed me how to play Yahtzee. I am definitely a Gendron. Check out my first attempt at a Yahtzee... not too bad! Watch both my videos, one of me talking up a storm and one of Daddy making me laugh.

Look who came to visit me this month! It's Great Auntie Sue! She didn't even get to see Mommy and Daddy... only me and Gramma Sue. I think it's funny that there are two Sue Gendrons in my family.

My Fourth Month

My first summer with Mommy home has come to an end, but boy did we have a blast! My fourth month started with a fun filled visit with my cousin Caitlin, Auntie Charlene, and Uncle Jaramie from Virginia. Caitlin couldn't wait to hold me and kiss me! She loved playing with me on my playmat. We went up to Apple Hill for a picnic, but I missed most of it because I was asleep until the very end.

One day Mommy took me to her old job, The Sacramento Association of Realtors, to see her coworkers. She timed my feedings and naps so that I would be on my best behavior, but I didn't like that idea very much.

I also got to go to Lake Tahoe again (twice!) Not many babies get to visit Tahoe 4 times before they are four months old! The first time I went this month I got to go with Bubbie and Grandpa. Grandpa looked forward to the day he could walk me to the lake since before I was born. My Great Auntie Renie and Great Uncle Peter were also there. My Great Auntie Avie and Great Uncle Arnie came all the way over from South Shore to Tahoe City just to see me! One evening I got to visit Uncle David and many of my cousins who were staying at South Shore. Uncle David is a huge Lakers fan and since they lost in the NBA finals to the Boston Celtics, Mommy couldn't resist dressing me in Pierce's jersey. Luckily Uncle David still wanted to hold me. I love visiting Lake Tahoe, but I don't like going in the lake... I scream as soon as my toe touches the water. Mommy and Daddy think it's soooooo funny!

My favorite activities this month were watching t.v. with Daddy (I love the bright lights), sucking on my hands, and playing with my feet.

I had a blast at the California State Fair! Most of the time I was fast asleep in my stroller, but we were there for so long I had to spend some of the time hanging out with everyone. I got to see a sea lion show and since sea lions are Mommy's favorite animals she had to get our picture taken with one. I even got to see Daddy's green twin!

One day this month Grandma thought I was acting like such a punk that she decided to make me look like one. Mommy didn't get the chance to take my mohawk pictures until after I went to sleep... boy that flash was bright!

I love spending time with my new friend, Lily, but she's so quiet! I keep talking and talking to her and she never responds.

Look how well I can hold my head up now! I can't believe how quickly I've changed!

Look at my stylish Rusty onesie tank. September 2nd was Daddy's birthday so I surprised him by dressing up just like him (but of course I'm way cuter!)

Who says I'm not wrapped around Daddy's finger?!

Look who's laughing!
