My Third Month

This month was not quite so busy, but I still had a lot of fun watching the world. I got to meet Great Grandma Ethel. I am a very lucky girl because I have two great grandmas who love me.

I also got to go to my first wedding. It was so much fun celebrating with my cousin Jason. Mommy and Daddy brought my stroller, but I spent more time in people's arms. I really enjoyed seeing all my new friends and relatives again and I finally got to meet Auntie Avie and Uncle Arnie!

This month I got to go to my cousins' cabin in Twain Harte. I had so much fun! I followed along while everyone went wine tasting, I got to play with Lord Stanley, and I loved playing the new game "Superbaby" that Mommy played with me.

Later this month I went to a picnic and concert at Boeger Winery in Apple Hill. I wasn't too excited about it at first, but once the music started I was having fun! I even had the perfect onesie for the occasion!
Guess what else happened this month!! My new best friend finally arrived!! I was on my best behavior as I met Liliana Margaret Pearson for the first time at the hospital. She weighed 8lbs 11oz. She was in a much bigger hurry to see the world then I was. It only took her 7 hours to arrive... Mommy was jealous. Check out her red hair!

My Second Month

This has been my busiest month ever! At the beginning my favorite game was "Where's the Mommy." I loved it when Mommy hid behind me and I tried to find her.

I finally got to meet my Auntie Michelle and Uncle Josh. Uncle Josh had so much fun tickling my feet. Hopefully one day they'll give me a cousin and then Uncle Josh will leave my feet alone!

The day they left we hit the road for my first trip down to Southern California. We went down for a UCSB graduation, but first I got to go visit Bubbie and Grandpa. They threw a big party for me so I could meet all my new family and friends. I got to meet Anna and Kyle and even Sadie.

The day after we arrived at Bubbie and Grandpa's was Father's Day. I got all dressed up to spend the morning with Grandpa.

Later that day it was on to Santa Barbara to celebrate Cousin Lisa's graduation from UCSB. I fit right in with my stylish onesie. It was a lot of fun hanging out at the condo with Auntie Anne, Uncle Bruce, and my new cousins.

Before we left Santa Barbara to head back to Folsom we had to stop so I could see the ocean for the first time. My first trip to the beach... of course Mommy and Daddy would take a ton of pictures. Daddy even found a surfboard that the lifeguard said I could pose with. Daddy and Grandma looked all over the sand to find the perfect shell for me to take home.

One day this month Mommy and I went to Starbucks for a girls day out. I got to meet Mykaela, Delaney, and their new twin sisters. We were there for hours and I was on my best behavior the whole time!

Another day Mommy and Daddy took me with them to Tahoe Joe's for my first happy hour with "the gang." I wasn't quite as well behaved for this outing, but it was sure fun meeting some new friends.

Guess who came to visit me again this month... it was Bubbie!! This time she brought Auntie Renie with her. We did so many fun things together! I went on my first mall shopping trip and to my first toy store... oh wow! Bubbie couldn't resist buying me my own Sesame Street cell phone, but it took quite a lot of convincing Mommy to let me have it. Mommy says "No more cell phones for Kaylie, one is more than enough!" One morning we all went to Bubbie's favorite restaurant for breakfast. Mommy doesn't understand her fascination with Ihop, but Bubbie loves ordering her senior breakfast. During the visit everyone found time to watch me dance to Bubbie's blog and we even were able to go watch Daddy play volleyball. I meditated, hoping he would win... and he did!

Also this month, I got to meet cousins Nick and Sarah, Great Auntie Kathy, and Great Uncle Rick who were visiting California from Washington. Great Uncle Rick is so happy that he can now officially call himself "Great." I had a blast hanging out with so many Gendrons!

Later this month I went to Zak and Sara's baby shower. I can't wait for their baby girl to arrive in August! The Care Bears stickers really tell my mood for the party. I cried a lot and Mommy and Daddy made the mistake of leaving my bouncer at home... good thing Zak and Sara got one as a gift. After the bouncer stopped calming me down, I decided to try out all their other new toys, but it got a bit overwhelming.

Right before the Fourth of July weekend Mommy, Grandma, Terri, and Auntie Meagan went to Old Folsom for their annual cattle drive. It was pretty scary watching bulls running toward me, but Terri said she would protect me.

My first trip to Lake Tahoe was during my first Fourth of July. Mommy couldn't wait to get a picture of me with her and Daddy all dressed up in red, white, and blue. Where is Mommy's new red shirt she got for the occassion? It is in the washing machine... I can't help my spit up. Luckily, Mommy took some cute pictures of me in my new patriotic outfit because by the time her shirt was clean and ready for pictures, it was my outfit's turn to hit the washing machine (and this time it was not spit up.) So much for her hopes of a picture of the three of us.

Of course I went to see fireworks on the lake. The fireworks were very far away which made the evening so relaxing that I fell asleep during the entire show. Mommy and Daddy thought I was done for the night, but once they put me to bed my eyes popped wide open... I'm not going to make it that easy on them.

In Tahoe we stayed with my new friend, Hailey. I think she really liked me. She love staring at me while we played "Dueling Bouncers" and she even let me use her gym. I loved the gym so much that Daddy said I could have my own!

Mommy and Daddy let me watch a tiny bit of UFC. I looked so fashionable in my new onesie that Mommy designed and made.

I really enjoyed staring at my mobiles. I'm lucky to have one in my crib and one that Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma move from the kitchen to the changing table so I always have a mobile where I can see it.

Buddy is very protective of me. Look at him by my Pack 'N' Play as I take a nap. If I start to cry he is quick to go get someone to come care for me.

It was so hot this month! Way too hot for sunbathing, but am I cute or what?

Newborn, one month, two month, grow. Look how big I'm getting!
Look at us! Like father, like daughter.
