Hi Y'all

Guess where I got to go during Mommy's spring break... TEXAS! We were there with Gramma, Auntie Anne, Uncle Bruce, and Cousins Lisa, Jeff, and Flora. Mommy and Daddy didn't know if we would make it there when I woke up the night before our flight with a 103.4 fever, but we did! Luckily my fever went down and we did a ton of fun stuff. We started our Texas trip in San Antonio where we stayed right by the Riverwalk. The day after we arrived I got to go on a boat ride on the river. The next day Mommy, Daddy, Gramma, and I all went to Sea World. When we first got there we had to rush over to the Shamu show because it was just about to start. Well, that meant that the only seats left were in the splash zone. Boy did we get wet!! It was like a tidal wave and I did not like it at all! Although, I spent most of the rest of the day without any pants on, I really had a blast! I tried to pet dolphins, we saw a sea lion show, and went inside an aviary. We stayed to see the most amazing show ever... Sesame Street on stage! By the end of the day I was able to stay awake long enough to play in the kids' water area, and then was asleep before we left the parking lot.

The next day Gramma and Mommy took me to the Children's Museum. It was unbelievable! I got to dig in sand and pretend I was an archeologist, play with a giant Light Bright, be in a bubble, play house, pretend I was a pilot, go shopping and a ton more stuff too!

That evening, Daddy and Mommy took me on a horse-drawn carriage ride. I had been begging to do it and I was not disappointed. I loved it!

One day we went out to eat on the Riverwalk and I choked so bad that I threw up all over Cousin Lisa. Poor Lisa, she had already changed her clothes earlier that day because a birdie went potty on her and now I did this! Well, at least I got a cute picture out of it when Daddy cleaned me up in the bathtub.

The next day, Mommy, Daddy, and I headed to Austin to go visit our friends, Tom, Tami, and Brett. Brett was so nice. He took me out on my first date and picked me up in his convertible Mustang. I was traveling in style... until it ran out of "gas."

One evening Daddy, Mommy, Tom, and I went out to eat at the Salt Lick. Daddy knew he couldn't visit Austin and not go to the famous restaurant. It was a long wait to be seated, but in the meantime I just danced to the live music. I was even good during dinner so Mommy ordered me a scoop of ice cream. I may have to be good more often.
Tami has her very own horse. While we were in Austin everyone kept asking me if I wanted to ride it. I can't even stand a carousel ride so why in the world would I want to ride the real thing?! Then they told me if I rode a horse I would have to wear a helmet (or as I call it, a "horsie hat") and even tried one on me at Tami's house. Forget it!! Well, we drove out to the barn anyways, hoping that I would change my mind. As soon as I saw the HUGE horse, I couldn't wait to ride. I let Mommy put the horsie hat on my head and I was ready to go! Horseback riding was my favorite activity in Texas! I can't stop telling everyone about it!

It's Been Awhile!

This is a long overdue blog post. I guess, I've just been so busy! First, let me start with the sad pictures and then we can move on to all the fun I've been having! These are some of the last pictures of Kila and me. My doggy passed away very suddenly a little over a month ago, but I still say "good-night" and "good-morning" to her. I smile every time I give her hugs and kisses. Mommy says I changed Kila because before I was born she wasn't too fond of babies, but I guess she just couldn't resist me because BOY did she love me, care for me, and protect me.

Now, for the fun stuff! I have gotten really good at playing hide-and-seek. The pantry is the perfect hiding spot! Look, you can barely see me, but I see you!

One of the other new things I learned to do is to get "into" my kitchen. Mommy wouldn't have believed it if she didn't get the whole thing on video!

Hiding my head in a bucket may feel like a good hiding spot, but just because I can't see you, doesn't mean that you can't see me!

I still love music! Look at me turning around to the beat!

One day we had the craziest power failure. It was caused by a turkey! Well, Daddy forgot to turn the hot tub back on when we got our power back so guess who got to go swimming! Mommy was so surprised that she was able to find a bathing suit for me that wasn't packed away... she even found a swim diaper!

Mommy finally got video of me saying my best friend's name. Her name is Lily. Mommy is sure going to miss it once I don't say it like this anymore!

For Valentine's Day Bubbie and Grandpa sent me a gift card to Build-A-Bear. Well, I finally got to go and make my own toy! It was so much fun! I picked out a cuddly doggy to build. I dressed her in a Tinkerbell outfit and named her Tinkalicious. I love her so much... I wouldn't even let anyone carry her out of the mall for me... I did it all by myself!

Happy Holidays!

The holiday season is unbelievable!  I had too much fun!  It all started when Mommy, Daddy, and I went to Apple Hill and cut down our Christmas tree.  Of course I insisted on getting out of my stroller and walking around the forest.  No way did I stay clean that day, but look at the beautiful tree I picked out!

I got so many wonderful gifts from friends and family... how does everyone know that I love presents?!  Near and far, I am so lucky to have so many people who love me!

Gramma knows me so well that she just had to buy me a slide.  I can go up and down on it for hours... too bad that means that whoever is watching me has to stand by my side and hold my hand the entire time!

Mommy and Daddy had some time off work so we spent a week in San Jose with friends and family.  I was the hit of the party which is exactly how I like it.  I got to spend a lot of time with my Great Grandma Marion.  I insisted on saying "good-night" to her each evening and got really good at calling her "Gramma."  I didn't know there is someone else in this world named "Gramma."

We did a lot of fun things while in San Jose.  I got to go out for ice cream with my Great Grandma Ethel... she thought I was sooooo cute.  Mommy and Daddy even let me order cotton candy ice cream with sprinkles!  We also went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium where I saw sharks and penguins.  But my favorite part was the tide that went splashing over the see-through roof over my head!  I can't recreate that big smile!

After San Jose we hurried back to Folsom because Bubbie, Grandpa, Auntie Reenie, and Uncle Peter were in town.  The day after they arrived we headed up to Apple Hill for a day of wine tasting... I know how much Mommy loves her wine so I made sure to be on my best behavior, plus I had fun having so many people to play with!  The next day we were off to the Folsom Zoo.  Grandpa was so excited to take me on a train ride.  At first I didn't want to go, but I'm so glad I changed my mind.  Later that night Bubbie, Grandpa, Auntie Reenie, and Uncle Peter babysat me while Mommy and Daddy went out for a New Years Eve show.  I was so easy for them as we all sat around and watched "Up."  I would have made it through the whole movie if Mommy and Daddy hadn't come home early.

Thank you to everyone who made the holidays so special for me!!
