Happy 3rd Birthday to Me!

I had the best birthday ever this year! The day before my birthday Mommy and Daddy surprised me with my first car. I had so much fun learning how to drive! Daddy kept yelling at me to "take my foot off the gas." How was I supposed to know what he was talking about? Luckily, I only crashed once.

On my birthday I got to go to Chuck E. Cheese! I have never been there, but have been talking about going there on my birthday all year! It was everything I thought it would be... I can't wait to go back!

The day after my birthday Mommy and Daddy threw me a Thomas the Train birthday party. I love parties especially when I'm the birthday girl! Thank you to everyone who made my day so special!

Now that I'm 3, Mommy is still making sure I have a year filled with firsts. Shortly after my birthday I went bowling for the first time and loved it! I had so much fun cheering and giving high fives to everyone! They even had an arcade at the bowling alley with a dancing game. As long as the music kept going Mommy didn't even have to put any money into the machine!

Later this month Daddy went out of town so Mommy and I got pedicures. I've had pedicures at home before, but never at the salon! I could barely contain my excitement! When Mommy told me I had to sit really still I assured her that "I won't move." Before we left for the salon I told Daddy about the pedicure on Skype. I told him "It's going to be amazing!" I was not disappointed!

Spring Break

Spring break was very fun and very busy! We went to so many places. We started our week by spending A Day Out With Thomas. Auntie Rebecca, Uncle Chad, Abby, and Molly joined us. When we got there I had a wonderful surprise when I saw Bubbie there too! I ran up to her and gave her a great big hug!

After Thomas we headed down to San Diego to see Zach and Mike. The first day there we went to the beach. The water was very cold and salty, but it was sure fun playing in it with Daddy.

The next day Daddy, Mommy, and I went to the San Diego Safari Park. I loved the tram ride and the carousel and I always love seeing all the animals!

The day we left San Diego Mommy woke me up early. We were heading to a fantastic surprise. As soon as I saw Disneyland I put a huge smile on my face and said "Mommy, what's that? Is that Disneyland?" When she nodded yes, my huge smile got even bigger and I started clapping and cheering! I couldn't wait to ride Dumbo and meet Mickey Mouse! We spent one day at Disneyland and the next day at California Adventure. We even celebrated my birthday at Goofy's Kitchen for dinner where I got to meet Snow White! I had a whole conversation with her! I couldn't believe that she talked! None of the other Disney friends I met were able to talk. I told her that I saw her in her movie and that the mean witch was scary. She reassured me that the witch is not allowed to be mean or scary at Disneyland and that made me feel a lot better.

After Disneyland we headed to Simi Valley to see Bubbie and Grandpa. They had to leave on their spring break trip so our visit was very short, but of course we found time to go to Cho Cho San for dinner.

The next morning Mommy, Daddy, and I went to Magic Mountain. I loved going on the rides and meeting Tweety Bird! I hope that next time I get to meet Daffy Duck too.

After Magic Mountain we went back to Abby and Molly's house to celebrate my birthday. They got me a Thomas cake and presents! I love spending time with my cousins! I asked Mommy if I could stay for "5 weeks," but she said "no." Maybe next time.

The day after we got back home was Easter Sunday. Daddy cooked us a very special brunch and then we got to open Easter baskets. After I opened all my presents I got to go on an egg hunt in our house. It didn't take me very long to find all the hidden eggs. What a great way to end such a wonderful spring break!
